Emily is a director + producer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film & TV Production. 

Coming from a background in pitching and development, she has gone on to produce, direct, concept, and manage broadcast, digital, and social campaigns for brands including TIME Magazine, Procter & Gamble, Enfagrow, Enfamil, Soft Scrub, Visa, Merck, Google Pixel, Trident, Google Arts & Culture, H&R Block, 7Sage, Match, eos, Vilebrequin, The Klassy Network, Harlem Perfume Co, and Gia Coppola Wine.

Her narrative and music video work has been featured by the BAFTA-qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival, NOWNESS Asia, the Berlin Music Video Awards (Silver Selection), image+nation Montreal, Academy Award-qualifying HollyShorts, NYWIFT’s Annual Creative Showcase, iWoman TV, Film Shortage, Beyond the Short, and more.

She is currently in production on the feature documentary “Kings and Things”, which highlights the underrepresented world of drag kings and nonbinary burlesque. It’s received the 2023 DGNL Gives Back Pride production grant and features drag legend Murray Hill. She is also the founder of happytobehere, a development and production company based in NYC and LA.
